What does Perigee Maritime Consulting Do?
You are four steps away from a scientifically-based compatible crew.

Step 1: Owners, Captains, existing and remaining crew all take the CRAT.

Step 2: All potential hires are recommended by the hiring company, and they take the CRAT.

Step 3: CRAT surveys are statistically analyzed to determine compatibility with existing owner/Captain/crew.

Step 4: Results of Compatibility Ratings are reported to owner/Captain and/or Crew Supervisors to assist you in making final choices for hiring.

As an owner, Captain or Crew Supervisor, among your many jobs, you may be hiring a whole new crew, or you may need to replace some crew for a new yacht or a new voyage. The on-board issues you've encountered in the past have been daunting. It's no fun to manage an incompatible crew. It costs you time, emotional state-of-mind and money. You want to rehire, or hire an all-new crew. There may be crew members that you know are a good fit, but many of the positions needed to round out the crew for your yacht need to be filled by people you haven't worked with before.

The experienced team at Perigee Maritime Consulting is here to assist you in finding those best-fit crew members who will make your job easier and your voyage the relaxing, luxury experience you are seeking. (How experienced are we? Check out the About page to learn all about our Captain of Consultancy and Director of Statistical Analysis.)

But, the first thing you need to know is -- we are not a hiring company! We do not recruit, we do not act as a clearing house for applications. Only after a slate of potential hires has been completed does Perigee step into the picture. Your hiring company will, at your direction, provide the CRAT Survey to the potential hires. Then Perigee will perform the assessment of their surveys, and using our state-of-the-art statistical analysis, those participants scores will be compared with the owners, Captain, and any existing crew member's survey results.

These comparisons will result in recommendations and an explanation of why these people were chosen as compatible entities for your crew, for your ship. The hiring company will handle the other aspects, such as experience, task-orientation and references.

The final decision on whom to hire is up to you and your hiring company, but we are certain that adding the CRAT compatibility analysis will help you make better informed decisions and result in a better crew experience for all. Owner, Captain, Supervisors and Crew.
